Fresh Cuts: What’s new for the week to 3 March?

3rd March 2023 By Staff Reporter | news@foodticker.co.nz | @foodtickernz

Tegel Foods is on the GoGo, Griffin’s continues to roll out the Toffee Pops innovation, and Bluebird brings back some old favourites for a limited time.

Tegel’s Free Range GoGo Chicken Sticks

Tegel Foods has entered the on-the-go snacking category with its new GoGo Chicken sticks, which it says is a direct competitor to protein bars and muesli bars.

The ready-to-eat chilled Free Range GoGo Chicken Sticks are available in three flavours comprising BBQ, satay and butter chicken.

They are sold at supermarkets across the country in packs of three sticks each with an average weight of 60 grams and a RRP of $8.

Cookies and Cream Toffee Pops

Griffin’s continues to roll out the Toffee Pops innovation.

The biscuit and snacking company has added a Cookies and Cream flavour to the ever-growing range.

The 200g packet is available at supermarkets nationwide with a regular price of $4.70.

Bluebird Lamb & Mint

And finally, potato chip brand Bluebird is marking its 70th by bringing back two nostalgic Kiwi flavours.

The PepsiCo-owned brand is back with Lamb & Mint and Bacon products for a limited time – with the selection being decided by social media popular vote.

The Bluebird Originals Limited Edition ‘Bring Backs’ will be available at major grocery retailers nationally from 6 March, for a RRP of $2.80.
