Nestlé brings more Kit Kat innovation to New Zealand shores tapping into the indulgence trend, while Blue Frog Cereal and Moa Brewing Company look for growth from better-for-you products.


KitKat Mint Cookies and Cream and KitKat Smooth Hazelnut

Nestlé has brought more KitKat innovation to New Zealand’s shores.

The confectionery and snacking giant has launched two new flavours comprising new KitKat Smooth Hazelnut and KitKat Mint Cookies and Cream.

The 170g hazelnut and mint cookies and cream blocks have an RRP $3.80 respectively, while the 45g hazelnut bar comes with an RRP of $1.80. They are now available in-store across supermarkets and convenience retailers nationwide.


Blue Frog Cereal’s Keto Granola Toasted Superseeds with Vanilla and Sea Salt

A year on since Blue Frog Cereal launched it first 100% Keto cereal, it has extended its low carb offering with three more options.

Keto Almond Butter and Vanilla Bean is joining its premium cereal range and is now available across New Zealand and almost 600 Woolworths stores across Australia.

In addition it is also launching its first Keto granola SKUs, comprising Toasted Superseeds with Vanilla and Sea Salt and Ginger Nut Crunch.

All packets are 350g, with the premium cereal costing $14.50 and the granola just under $10.


Moa says its Bush Moa Mid Ale 2.5% is a better-for-you product

Moa Brewing Company is also getting in on the innovation game, making its entry into the lower alcohol beer segment.

Coming soon to stores around the country is the Bush Moa Mid Ale 2.5%, with the price TBC.

Moa boss Stephen Smith says it is the first of a series of better-for-you products the company is launching this year.
