Fresh Cuts: What’s new for the week to 14 April?

14th April 2023 By Staff Reporter | news@foodticker.co.nz | @foodtickernz

It’s a beverage-heavy line-up this week. Little Island has new plant-milk blends, AF hits another drinks trend, Remedy pushes into NZ’s energy drink segment, and Six Barrel holds onto summer.

Little Island’s range of plant-based milks

Little Island has expanded its range of plant-based milks to four.

The company has gone for blends with the new releases which include Oat & Coconut and Almond & Oat as two options.

The four-strong range is available now in all major supermarkets, retailing from $6.50 for 1 litre in Countdown.

AF Drinks’ Sparkling Rosé

AF Drinks has branded out from its cocktail roots with its latest new addition.

The non-alcoholic drinks brand has added a sparkling rosé to its line-up which has thus far centred around spirit-based 0% RTDs.

Available in New Zealand only, a 12-pack of 250ml cans starts at $45 online.

Remedy K!CK

Australian beverage brand Remedy – best known for its kombucha – has crossed the ditch with its latest iteration.

Its new natural energy drink, Remedy K!CK, is hitting shelves around New Zealand and is available in Blackberry, Mango Pineapple and Lemon Lime.

It had an RRP of A$4 per 250ml when it launched in Australia last year.

Six Barrel Soda’s Peach & Yuzu syrup

Six Barrel Soda reckons it is holding on to summer with its new experimental syrup.

The limited edition Peach & Yuzu syrup – combining soft peach notes and delightful hints of yuzu citrus – is here for a good time, not a long time, they say.

The 500mL bottle is available now from its New Zealand online store for $16.50.
