A new spread from Egmont Honey; Raglan Food Co kicks off a seasonal series, Whittaker’s puts its spin on an old classic, and Sprig & Fern has a little something for the grown ups.
By its own admission, something a little bit different from Egmont Honey this week.
The company, which is known for its Mānuka products, has moved into a new type of spread – even branding the bottle Egmont Spreads.
It has made the move with a 500g jar of Dulce de Leche, which is available on its website for $14.50.
The first of a number of limited edition seasonal releases Raglan Food Co plans to launch this year.
The plant-based manufacturer has dropped a New Zealand Feijoa & Pear Coconut Yoghurt for autumn.
It is available in a 700g jar from New World, Pak‘nSave and independent supermarkets now and in Countdown supermarkets from later this month priced from $14.99.
Whittaker’s has stamped its own mark on a traditional flavour in its latest NPD.
The family-owned Porirua chocolate maker has added a new Honey Nougat and Almond 250g Block to its range, made with New Zealand clover honey nougat crisps and roasted almond pieces and Whittaker’s 33% 5 Roll Refined Creamy Milk Chocolate.
It is a permanent addition to Whittaker’s core range and is available in a classic 250g block in stores nationwide from Monday 8 May.
Sprig + Fern Brewing Co has expanded its Grown Up Lemonade range.
The two new flavours from the Richmond-based brewery are Grown Up Lemonade + Mango and Grown Up Lemonade + Mixed Berry.
Both are made from a base of Grown Up Lemonade, a vodka-based lemonade seltzer made with real lemon juice, and sit at a sessionable 4.0% ABV.
The full Grown Up Lemonade range is available in 330ml six packs of cans at leading liquor stores and via the Sprig + Fern website and cellar door.
Both Grown Up Lemonade and Grown Up Lemonade + Mango are also available at the thirteen Sprig + Fern Taverns in Nelson, Tasman, Wellington and Christchurch, and Little Sprig in Wellington.
