10th February 2023 By Staff Reporter | news@foodticker.co.nz | @foodtickernz

Nestlé’s Nespresso goes to Milan, Pic’s makes Smunchy permanent, and Asahi launches a Major Major new flavour.

Nestlé adds Milano Intenso

A limited edition flavour has joined Nespresso’s Ispirazione Italiana selection.

Nestlé’s coffee capsule brand has added Milano Intenso to what it says is its best-selling New Zealand range, adding it is designed to allow coffee enthusiasts to celebrate the vibrant city of Milan.

The Milano Intenso retails for $14.00 per sleeve.

Pic’s Smunchy Peanut Butter

When nut butter brand Pic’s teamed up with 10-year old Maggie Mellors to launch its super limited edition Smunchy, the plan was to sell a few cartons at Peanut Butter World and raise some money for KidsCan Charitable Trust.

However, it was a hit with consumers and the supermarkets soon came knocking, so the Nelson business has added Smunchy Peanut Butter as a permanent, core member of the Pic’s range.

Available nationwide with an RRP of $6.99.

One of New Zealand’s youngest RTD brands has new flavour.

Asahi Beverage New Zealand’s Major Major brand has rolled out a vodka, blackcurrant & lime offering.

Sold in 330ml can 10-packs, it has an ABV of 4.8%, and is available nationwide through traditional liquor stores and select bars with an RRP of $27.99 for a 10-pack.
