The Vegan Society’s inaugural vegan cheeses awards attracted more than 30 entries from New Zealand plant-based cheese makers.
Participants included Angel Food, Bu Deli, Diva, Grater Goods, Green Larder, Hapi, Kaiaroha Vegan Deli And Eatery, Let Them Eat Vegan, Moa Cakery, Savour, Tree Top Foods and Zenzo.
Judging across nine categories such as commercial & flavoured cheddar; feta; mozzarella and hard cheese, takes place today, 19 July, at Herne Bay plant-based restaurant The Butcher’s Son.
