Applications are now being taken for the 2021 Bay of Plenty Young Grower Competition, which is also open to growers in Northland and Waikato.
The Young Grower competition, held on 18 February, aims to showcase horticulture industry talent from across the region, as well as promote potential future leaders.
A range of horticultural related theory and practical activities are held on the day, with a gala dinner where contestants take part in a speech competition and awards are presented to the winners.
