Chocolate makers from all over the world entered the Vegan Society Aotearoa’s first Vegan Chocolate Awards with the hope of becoming a winner in one of seven categories.
Mahurangi-based chocolate company Foundry, with their “Kilombero Valley Tanzania”, was named winner of the Bean to Bar category, and the overall Supreme winner in this inaugural year.
Other gongs went to the Wellington Chocolate Factory; Mind Your Temper; Honest Chocolate; Flint; and, Bennetto.
