Toi Tangata has launched its He Kai Kei Aku Ringa project, a way to show how whānau can navigate positive relationships with kai by sharing their stories and everyday realities.
The resource from the Māori health living agency consisted of a series of six short films on whānau as they shared their broad understandings of food and how these understandings informed their everyday practice.
Additional resources included a four-week meal plan, with kai cards that came in either English or te reo Māori, which were a tool to support whānau to build their kete of skills around kai.
