New Zealand agtech and foodtech business accelerator and investor Sprout Agritech has named Israeli agtech specialist Gil Meron as its new chief executive.
Meron, who co-founded boutique management consultancy and investment firm Yarden Group and has worked in the sector in the US, London and Israel, is relocating to NZ with his family to start the role on 1 February 2021.
Sprout chair Marcel van den Assum said Meron brought “global innovation, leadership credentials and investment experience which alongside the proven local team, establishes Sprout as the “go to” investor in deep tech Agri and Food sector ventures.”
