US food-tech company Ripple Foods collected $549,450 from New Zealand wholesale investors in its latest oversubscribed $55m fundraising round.
The plant-based dairy company, backed by Goldman Sachs and Prelude Ventures, planned to use the cash to expand its manufacturing capacity and distribution network, research & development and market penetration.
The offer was being run through US fundraising platform OurCrowd, and open to New Zealand investors via its partnership with Snowball Effect.
