New Zealand Trade and Enterprise has launched the first of its bi-monthly updates on freight and the supply chain.
NZTE surveyed 993 customers, with the findings sent to the Ministry of Transport in support of continuing the International Airfreight Capacity scheme.
The survey found New Zealand’s geographical isolation, its reliance on sea and airfreight, and the importance of speed to market meant it was vital to maintain connectivity to markets.
Key findings from NZTE’s supply chain survey can be found here.
