New World has revealed its Top 30 beverages in its annual Beer & Cider Awards, and named Lion craft brand Emerson’s Weissbier its supreme winner.
This year, two non-alcoholic beers made the list, comprising All Day Non-Alcoholic IPA from Auckland’s Bach Brewing and the Garage Project ‘Tiny’ Non-Alcoholic Hazy IPA.
Another first in the awards’ eight-year history sees the Top 30 made up entirely of New Zealand brands, including nine first-time winners, such as Wānaka’s Rhyme X Reason and Christchurch’s 100% female-owned brewery Beer Baroness.
