Eat New Zealand and The Restaurant Association have postponed this year’s Food Hui until 1-2 November.
The event, which brings together stakeholders from across the food system, was meant to be held at Christchurch Town Hall on 27-28 September.
Eat New Zealand chief executive Angela Clifford said: “As an organisation we will do everything we can to bring people back together safely, acknowledging the powerful and often unseen connections and problem-solving that can be made by being in each other’s presence.”
“For this reason, in collaboration with The Restaurant Association, we’ve decided to postpone the Food Hui until November 1st and 2nd, in the hope we can return to level 1 and hold it in person.”
