Mainfreight’s New Zealand country manager, Craig Evans, has resigned and is to leave the business at the end of January 2022.
The transport and distribution heavyweight said his successor would be appointed from within the business and would be announced in due course.
Evans started with the company in 1987 managing a fledgling branch in the Hawke’s Bay, graduating over time to spend the last six years overseeing the full New Zealand business, encompassing the three divisions of transport, air and ocean, and warehousing.
