Ausveg and Produce Marketing Association Australia-New Zealand have confirmed that Hort Connections 2021 will take place in Brisbane on 7-9 June.
The confirmation that the annual industry trade show and conference will go ahead at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre followed the announcement of a seven-day state-wide lockdown in Victoria, stemming from a Covid-19 outbreak.
The Queensland government has not yet indicated whether people based in Victoria for the duration of the lockdown will be able to travel to Brisbane without quarantining at the conclusion of the lockdown, currently set to end at 11.59pm on 3 June.
