Social enterprise and food poverty fighter Whenua Warrior is one of 20 Māori organisations featured at the inaugural Tāmaki Makaurau Taki Hua Māori Business Showcase.
The event at the Viaduct Harbour today will present emerging Māori businesses, social enterprises, agencies and iwi that illustrated economic opportunities for Mana Whenua and Māori.
Kelly Francis, founder of charitable trust Whenua Warrior, said she was on a “mission to fight food poverty with the solutions of our ancestors and bringing them forward into a modern-day context”.
