29th July 2022 By Staff Reporter | news@foodticker.co.nz | @foodtickernz

Check what’s new to the market for the week to 29 July 2022. Do you have a new product scheduled for release? Send us the details at product@foodticker.co.nz and we’ll help spread the news.

This week, Griffin’s leverages Cookie Bear into crackers, Hellers extends its Meals Made Easy range, and Moa’s RTD brand Hey Hey adds a new flavour.

Griffin’s is leveraging its Cookie Bear character into the cracker category.

The biscuit maker has launched two flavours of the Cookie Bear Crackers, chicken and cheese, to go after the lunchbox market.

The 140g boxes are on sale for $3.20 at Countdown.

Two new oven-ready offerings from Hellers this week.

The butcher-turned-FMCG manufacturer has taken its well-known sausage flavour, London Pride, and packaged it in pastry to develop a family-sized sausage roll.

It is also going after the convenience dollars with its Family Meatloaf.

Both are packaged in cook-in trays, continuing the ‘meals made easy’ push.

Moa has extended its RTD brand Hey Hey with a new flavour.

The beverage business’s take on the classic Vodka, Lemon, Lime and Soda has a twist of bitters and joins the two flagship flavours the brand launched with last September.

A ten-pack of the 330 ml cans retails for $29.
