Fresh Cuts: What’s new for the week to 22 April?

22nd April 2022 By Staff Reporter | news@foodticker.co.nz | @foodtickernz

Check what’s new to the market for the week to 14 April 2022. Do you have a new product scheduled for release? Send us the details at product@foodticker.co.nz and we’ll help spread the news.

A couple of limited editions on the market this week, with Mondelēz looking to Tip Top for its latest Cadbury innovation, and Abe’s Bagels going sweet, while Domino’s beefs up its extra value range.

The latest Cadbury dairy milk innovation from Mondelēz New Zealand has seen it team up with iconic Kiwi ice-cream brand Tip Top to put its Boysenberry Ripple flavour to a new use, namely a limited edition Boysenberry Ripple chocolate block.

The 180g block is a blend of Cadbury dairy milk chocolate and white chocolate on the outside, with the Froneri-owned ice cream brand inspiring the boysenberry flavoured jelly and vanilla flavoured crème filling.

It will be available in supermarkets, dairies, and petrol stations from 24 April nationwide for a limited time with an RRP of $3.80, and has been launched with a competition to find ‘the Boysenberry Ripple Expert of New Zealand’.

Another limited edition for the sweet tooth this week.

Abe’s Bagels has pumped out a double choc chip version of its bakery staple, spiked with vanilla and packed with milk chocolate chips and caramelised white chocolate chunks.

Available at selected supermarkets nationwide.

Pizza franchise Domino’s has added two new meaty flavours to its extra value range.

The quick service restaurant this week added a BBQ Sausage & Bacon and a Three Meats flavour to the now six-strong extra value range on its menu.

The range is priced from $7 pick up at all Domino’s stores nationwide.
