A triple Christmas treat from Duck Island Ice Cream, Goodtime Pie Co turns up the pepper in its latest vegan pie, Wellington Chocolate Factory is at it again this time with Papua New Guinea beans, and Good George adds a taste of Jaffa to its Espresso Martini.

The Hamilton-based company has got into the festive spirit with three new flavours available for a limited time.

You can find them at Farro Fresh, Moore Wilson’s and a few more selected retailers this December – as well as the by the scoop and pint in Duck Island’s scoop shops.

Portobello and button mushrooms, spinach, potato, and kumara are packed in this pastry package.

Napier’s GoodTime Pie Co is continuing to grow its vegan pie range adding a Hub Gourmet vegan pepper mushroom pie.

Fresh off the back of winning the best commercial vegan pie at the 2021 Vegan Pie Awards, the pastry package is sliding into pie warmers at Z Energy across the country.

It will also be sold by retailers ranging from bakeries, convenience stores and selected supermarkets across the country.

Wellington Chocolate Factory is at it again.

This time the chocolatier is working with Fairtrade Australia and New Zealand to bring forward a limited edition chocolate bar featuring beans sourced exclusively from Papua New Guinea.

With fewer than 200 bars available, the chocolate is made from organic, fairtrade beans grown by the Yangoru Cocoa Development Project, based in Wewak, in the remote northern region of East Sepik province.

The project is a collaborative farming initiative, comprising 529 small scale farmers growing cocoa beans, supporting a community of more than 2600 people.

Good George changes up its Espresso Martini – for a limited time.

I see your Espresso Martini, and raise it with chocolate and orange.

Good George Brewing has pushed out a limited edition Jaffa Espresso Martini building on its original drop made with cold brew coffee from Raglan Roast, and small batched distilled vodka.
