Produced in sunny Hawke’s Bay, Boring® is leading the future of oat innovation and sustainability in the plant-based space, on a mission to create sustainable and delicious oat products. 

The Role

Reporting to the National Sales Manager you will lead our New Zealand Foodservice Sales Strategy. The focus of this role is to drive distribution and maximise sales and profitability within a portfolio of existing accounts, in addition to driving growth through customer acquisition. The ideal candidate will be Hawkes Bay, Auckland or Wellington based with frequent travel around the country.  

Core responsibilities;

  • With full P&L responsibility you’ll be able to demonstrate strong financial awareness, be results orientated with strong influencing skills and the capability to deliver revenue targets
  • You will own the customer and supply chain from production at our plant in Hawke’s Bay, to multiple foodservice customers around the country
  • A strong focus on hospitality in addition to the oil trade

The Person

You will likely be an Account Manager with a background gained in the coffee industry or working for a brand supplying into foodservice customers, or you will be an incredibly passionate hospitality professional looking for the opportunity to step into an Account Manager role. Successful applicants will need business smarts, need to be comfortable dealing at head office level and be able to work with all types of business operators credibly and confidently.

Desired skills;

  • Experience of managing foodservice accounts is preferred, however an understanding of the foodservice landscape within New Zealand is essential
  • You will be motivated, driven and highly professional, coupled with a high work ethic and a proven track record of sales success
  • You will have excellent relationship building skills and this will be reflected in your ability to influence at both Head Office and end user level
  • You will have the ability to mentor and work closely with other members of the sales team to deliver the best possible outcomes
  • Self-motivated and able to work to targets, you will be confident both working independently and as part of a wider sales team
