Five horticulture heavyweight’s have thrown their name in the ring for two existing vacancies on the Horticulture New Zealand board.
Two current members – Balle Broc marketing manager Bernadine Guilleux and Rockit Global director Brydon Nisbet are seeking re-election, while the three challengers comprise kiwifruit and avocado grower Liarna White; Heinz Wattie’s non-executive chairman Mike Pretty and New Zealand Avocado director Paula Kearns.
Voting will close at 12 noon on Tuesday 25 May 2021.
