Food rescue charity KiwiHarvest is calling on New Zealanders to waste less and donate food to local organisations for today’s World Food Day.

Blandina Diamond, KiwiHarvest general manager, said that while initial donations from generous individuals and businesses had been a significant help, demand for food remained consistently high, even since lockdown came to an end.
