About us 

Zeffer began selling hand-crafted premium cider at the Matakana Farmer’s Market in 2009. Since those humble beginnings, Zeffer has become a household name in the New Zealand beverage scene and is New Zealand’s largest dedicated cider producer. Now based in beautiful Hawke’s Bay, we are a small, agile and passionate team and pride ourselves on making exceptional beverages to champion the cider and non-alcoholic cider categories in New Zealand and Australia. Zeffer is currently the fastest growing cider brand in New Zealand and we have big ambitions to build on this momentum. We are seeking a sales superstar to drive the brand forward in our key market of Auckland. 

The role 

Reporting to our CEO and working closely with the team and our New Zealand distributor, Lion Nathan, you will focus on growing and supporting our key off-premise and on-premise outlets in the greater Auckland region. This includes supporting supermarkets, liquor stores, bars and restaurants to ensure they have the right Zeffer range to contribute to their success. Sales execution and account support will be the core focus of your role and there will be crossover into nationwide sales and events support, marketing, as well as input into sales strategy.  

Candidate requirements

  • Highly motivated and energetic self-starter with excellent time management skills
  • An entrepreneurial spirit who enjoys working in a small, agile team across multiple sales channels
  • At least 3 years sales experience, ideally a minimum of 2 years in FMCG with a proven track record of delivering results
  • Strong presentation and communication skills with the ability to customize presentations to suit your audience
  • Excellent sales and negotiation skills
  • Be target driven and enjoy setting SMART goals to achieve tangible results
  • Diligent in mapping out and committing to an efficient call cycle and completing live reports
  • Strong command of MS Office suite


  • Base salary + company car, iPad, phone, bonus

This role is based in Auckland, but you will also travel throughout New Zealand.
