Prime minister Jacinda Ardern is one of more than 90 world leaders set to participate in the historic United Nations Food Systems Summit next week.
The virtual event, which is the first of its kind and takes place during the UN General Assembly in New York on September 23, sets the stage for individual countries to announce their commitments to transform food systems to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals.
According to the UN, more than 130 countries are expected to announce national commitments at the event.
